As we prepare for this new chapter, GAIA Miami is looking for a passionate and driven LINE COOK to join our growing team.


We are seeking a skilled and dependable LINE COOK to join our kitchen team. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes according to recipes and standards, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, and supporting overall kitchen operations during service.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards
  • Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies
  • Ensure food quality, freshness, and consistency during service
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards at all times
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Assist with food prep, inventory rotation, and waste reduction
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams
  • Clean and maintain workstations, utensils, and equipment
  • Support opening and closing duties as assigned


Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous experience as a line cook or similar role preferred
  • Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Team-oriented attitude with good communication skills
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements


  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Manual dexterity for handling kitchen tools and equipment

Work Environment

  • Fast-paced, high-temperature kitchen environment
  • Exposure to hot surfaces, sharp tools, and cleaning chemicals
