The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care and services under the direction of the Director of Nursing to ensure the health and well-being of residents in a long-term care setting. This role involves direct clinical support, medication management, coordination with physicians, and oversight of health-related compliance and documentation. The LVN will supervise nursing aides, conduct health assessments, and provide training to staff and residents on medical procedures and wellness practices. The nurse plays a vital role in maintaining regulatory standards, responding to changes in resident conditions, and fostering a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.
This position requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, along with a compassionate approach to resident care. The LVN must be licensed in Texas and demonstrate the physical and emotional capacity to meet the demands of a dynamic healthcare environment.
