About the Job:Under the direction of the Library Director or their designee, manage and coordinate a division of the Library (e.g.: Youth Services, Adult Services, Technical Services, or Evergreen Branch). The work involves hiring, training, oversight, and evaluation of professional, clerical, and volunteer staff, acting as a liaison with other community agencies serving similar populations and working with potential funding sources to generate additional resources and support. Employees in this class serve on the Library's Leadership Team to determine overall Library goals, coordinate services, and formulate policies and procedures. The work is reviewed by observation and through evaluation of reports and projects. This position oversees a small staff of professional, technical, and clerical employees and various volunteer positions.
