Library Intern/Willoughby Branch

Description

The Willoughby-Eastlake Public Library is hiring a temporary summer intern at the Willoughby branch to help with circulation desk work, program set up and other tasks throughout the library. This internship is created for someone considering a career in library service to learn more about the profession and to gain introductory skills.

Job Type

Part-time Temporary Position: 12 hours per week for an eight week period this summer. Schedules are posted two weeks in advance.

Pay: $11.69 per hour (non-bargaining union position)

Requirements

• Age 16 or older
• Familiarity using personal computers
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work days, evenings, or weekends as required
