JOB SUMMARY:
The Library Assistant I is dedicated to public service in assisting patrons with all their library needs. This position requires excellent customer service skills to conduct library operations at the circulation desk, assist library users with their information needs, perform basic computer assistance, and assist with various clerical duties as needed.

COMPENSATION AND SCHEDULE:
Pay range: $15.30 - $18.70 hourly depending on education and experience
Benefits include: Vacation leave accrual; Sick leave accrual after 3 months, individual membership at the the Heights recreation complex; Employee Assistance Program.
This position works approximately 20 hrs. per week: Scheduled hours are Wednesdays 11:45-8:15 p.m., Fridays, 9 - 1 p.m., and Saturdays 8:45-5:15 p.m.
