A leading Am Law firm is seeking a Leveraged Finance / Fund Finance Associate Attorney to join its Los Angeles office. The firm is known for its sophisticated finance practice and representation of major financial institutions, private credit lenders, and investment funds in complex transactions.
This Finance Attorney role offers the opportunity to work on high-value leveraged finance, structured finance, and private credit matters within a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment. Key Responsibilities
• Work on fund finance, private credit, leveraged finance, and structured finance transactions
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis related to complex financial matters
• Draft and negotiate transaction documents, including credit agreements and related contracts
• Assist in managing transactions from inception through closing
• Collaborate with clients, financial institutions, and internal teams
• Support negotiations and high-level deal structuring
• Ensure compliance with applicable legal and regulatory frameworks
• Build and maintain strong client relationships

Qualifications
• 4+ years of experience as a Finance Attorney, Leveraged Finance Attorney, or Structured Finance Attorney
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Admission to the California Bar (CA Bar required)
• Experience in fund finance, private credit, leveraged finance, debt capital markets, or structured finance
• Prior experience at an Am Law firm preferred
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
