Responsible for proactively soliciting business. The position is accountable for handling customer segments related to opportunities with significant revenue potential. Actively up-sells each business opportunity to maximize revenue for individual properties. Aligns customer profile with the appropriate product. Achieves personal and team related revenue goals. Turns business over properly and in a timely fashion for proper service delivery in accordance with brand standards. Creates opportunities to grow the account base through customer interactions.
•Developing and implementing strategies to promote leisure services and products. •Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, including travel agencies, tour operators, and other partners, to secure bookings and foster loyalty. •Reports to the Director of Sales and Marketing and Director of Revenue • Negotiating contracts and terms to ensure favorable business outcomes. •Analyzing market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities and refine sales strategies. •Collaborating with marketing and revenue management teams to create targeted campaigns and promotions. •Ensuring a seamless experience for leisure guests from booking to their stay. •Extensive travel represents the company at trade shows, networking events, and client activations to amplify brand presence. •Strong sales and negotiation skills: To effectively close deals and secure bookings. •Knowledge of the leisure and hospitality industry: Understanding market trends, competitor strategies, and customer needs. •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Building rapport with clients, leading a team, and collaborating with other departments. •Strategic thinking and planning: Developing effective sales plans and adapting to changing market conditions. •Leadership and motivation: Inspiring and coaching a sales team to achieve targets. •Data analysis: Using data to track performance, identify trends, and make informed decisions. •Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools: Managing customer relationships and tracking performance metrics effectively.
