Our client is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary with commercial litigation experience for a 3‑month temporary assignment, with potential consideration for temp‑to‑hire.
The person in this role now is resigning and the firm is looking to fill it permanently, but would also like to secure a temporary resource to support the team during the search.
📅 Start Date: ASAP
⏳ Duration: Temporary (3 months; TTH possible)
💵 Pay Rate: $33.65–$38.46/hr (DOE)
📍 Location: 100% onsite – near the Galleria
Eligible for LHH Benefits - Medical, Dental, Vision, Life if you work at least 32 hours/week

Essential Requirements (Must Have):
✅ Commercial litigation experience
✅ Proven experience supporting multiple attorneys with active dockets
Role Overview:
This role provides high‑level legal and administrative support to attorneys handling active commercial litigation matters. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail‑oriented, and thrives in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven law firm environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting multiple attorneys with active commercial litigation dockets
• Managing calendars, deadlines, scheduling, and court dates
• Drafting, formatting, and proofreading legal documents and correspondence
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, iManage (or similar), and Aderant (or similar)
• Maintaining accurate and organized electronic and paper case files
• Coordinating with courts, clerks’ offices, clients, and internal teams
Ideal Candidate:
• Prior experience as a Legal Secretary in a commercial litigation practice
• Comfortable supporting multiple lawyers simultaneously
• Strong organizational, time‑management, and communication skills
• Reliable, professional, and comfortable working 100% onsite
