Legal Intern - Real Estate Transactions

ABOUT THE ROLE

Logistics Property Company, LLC is seeking a Legal Intern to support its legal team based in Chicago. This part-time internship offers a unique opportunity for a current law student to gain hands-on experience in commercial real estate and contract law within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

The Legal Intern will work closely with the General Counsel, Associate General Counsels, and other members of the business teams, assisting with a variety of transactional real estate and contract-related matters across LogiPropCo’s national investment platform.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Assist in the drafting, reviewing, and organizing real estate service contracts, including vendor agreements and development-related documents.
• Support the legal team in real estate transactions such as acquisitions, leases, dispositions, and financings.
• Help monitor the status and approval process of contracts and maintain organized records.
• Conduct legal research on real estate, regulatory, and compliance issues.
• Assist with due diligence reviews, including title and survey analysis.
• Coordinate with external counsel, title companies, and internal stakeholders to support transaction closings.
• Stay informed on relevant legal and regulatory developments in real estate and contract law.

ABOUT YOU

• Currently enrolled in an ABA-accredited law school, ideally with a focus or interest in real estate, contracts, or business law.
• Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a professional setting.
