Position Overview:

Walters, Balido & Crain is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Legal Document Management Clerk to join our Austin Office. This entry-level position is well-suited for recent graduates or individuals completing a paralegal program who are looking to gain practical experience in a legal environment.


The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working with technology, and able to maintain a high level of accuracy in their work.


Responsibilities:

· Organize, upload, and maintain all case-related documents (electronic and hard copy) within our document management system

· Manage and track pleadings, proposed orders, and court notifications

· Process incoming mail and scan/file case-related documents

· Ensure all records are accurate, well-organized, and handled with strict confidentiality

· Provide support to attorneys and paralegals, staying proactive and responsive to team needs


Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Prior clerical or legal administrative experience (preferred)

· Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat

· Comfortable learning new software and adapting to technology quickly

· A proactive, dependable work ethic with the ability to multitask

· Professional communication skills and the ability to follow directions

· Basic understanding of legal terminology (preferred)


Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
