The position is part of the Case Management department working on all phases of injury claims. This is a full-time, onsite & permanent position.
Ideal candidate:
- Has an AA Degree and a year or more experience working in a Personal Injury, MedMal or Insurance Defense legal practice
- Quick learner, someone that can grasp concepts and apply them to similar projects
- Is empathetic, great listener, patient, and possesses strong communication skills
- Detailed-oriented and good at following established procedures
- Self-motivated
- Strong time management skills
- Highly organized and thorough in keeping current claimants informed and their case moving
- Skilled in data entry with various software programs

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct interviews and follow-ups with claimants or their representative who are victims of defective drugs or devices, environmental contamination, or have a general personal injury claim
- Conducts pre-litigation investigations, aspects of discovery work, reviewing records, drafting correspondence, analytical work, and updates, follows and guides claimant through the pre-litigation process
- Coordinating and following up on the retrieval of claimant’s records.
- Review medical records, annotating records following our robust bookmarking procedures
- Point of contact for your claimants, providing updates to their claim
- Interprets and disseminates information concerning claims and casework to supervisors
- Undertake a variety of administrative duties such as scheduling claimant appointments, managing calendars, and maintaining up-to-date case notes
