Location: San Diego, CA (In-office Attendance Required 3-5 Days Per Week)

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday

Compensation: $80,000-$100,000 Annually + Benefits

Reports to: Firm Administrator / Managing Attorney


Rosing Pott & Strohbehn is an elite boutique law firm concentrating in complex litigation, professional liability and white-collar criminal defense, business and intellectual property litigation, ethics and business advisement, and appellate and administrative actions. With headquarters in San Diego, RPS is a growing firm that services clients throughout California and Arizona. RPS has an immediate need for an experienced legal assistant. We are pleased to offer flexibility with on-site, hybrid, and remote working arrangement options.


Responsibilities and Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and appellate court filing rules and procedures, supported by a strong litigation background
  • Proficient in e-filing systems and calendaring processes
  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a legal assistant in civil litigation
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills
  • Commitment to delivering excellence in legal services
  • Self-motivated with a positive, proactive attitude
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to independently handle multiple cases while working collaboratively within a partner-driven team.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with legal assistants, paralegals, partners, and clients.
  • High level of professionalism, judgment, discretion, and the ability to handle sensitive or high-exposure cases.
  • Comfort working in a cloud-based, modern legal tech environment (NetDocs, Clio, etc.).
