Position Overview

A law firm is seeking a Litigation & Office Assistant to provide litigation support and assist with daily office operations. This role works closely with attorneys, paralegals, and firm leadership to support case management, document preparation, court filings, and administrative functions in a fast-paced legal environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, proofread, format, and file legal documents, motions, briefs, and court filings.
  • Create Tables of Contents and Authorities and finalize documents using Adobe Acrobat and legal formatting tools.
  • Maintain compliance with court rules and filing procedures.
  • Organize and manage case files and document management systems.
  • Coordinate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff on deadlines and litigation support needs.
  • Assist with office operations including scheduling, conference room setup, mail handling, supply management, and front desk support.
  • Support special projects, meetings, and office events.
  • Provide administrative support to office leadership as needed.


Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of litigation support or legal administrative experience.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment.
  • High attention to detail and strong follow-through.
  • Professional and team-oriented demeanor.


Technical Skills

Preferred experience with:

  • PACER, ECF, and state e-filing systems
  • iManage or other document management platforms
  • Microsoft Office Suite, especially advanced Word formatting
  • Adobe Acrobat
  • Legal calendaring software, eDiscovery platforms, and Westlaw
