Overview:
We are looking for a part-time (24-32 hours) Legal Administrative Assistant to join our family law team in Everett, Washington. In this role, you will report to and provide essential support to the Firm Administrator and paralegals. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth front desk operations and delivering excellent customer service to visitors and team members. The role requires strong communication skills and a proactive approach to administrative tasks, keeping the office functioning effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities include:
Answer incoming calls with attention to detail, taking detailed notes on same and/or directing them to appropriate team members.
Greet office visitors promptly and with warmth and compassion
Uphold a courteous and detail-oriented demeanor while representing the firm.
Contact clients to gather clarity, additional background, or status updates on requests.
Assist with processing incoming and outgoing mail, and legal messenger deliveries, and provide copies to client via client's preferred method (email, mail)
Assist with opening new client files and closing completed case files.
Order and maintain supplies
Ensure the reception area and break room remain organized and presentable at all times.
Provide backup for scheduling conference rooms.
Collaborate with team members to support daily office operations efficiently
Help support company events.
Various assignments/projects and office errands on an as-needed basis

Proficiency with computer skills in Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel. Familiarity with Practice Master and TABS is a plus.
Able to work regular office hours (8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.), Monday through Thursday, onsite at our Everett office or remote, as required.
High school diploma or equivalent education.
Minimum 2 years of experience in an assistant or administrative support role.
Valid Washington State driver's license with a clean driving record for the past 12 months.
Ability to pass a criminal background check.
At least two professional references.
Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
Job Salary Range: $22.36 – 33.54 per hour
