Other Conditions: Lecturer applicant pool for Academic Year 2026-2027. Positions are part-time, temporary (as needed), non-tenure-track and contingent upon student enrollment, position availability and funding. Must be available to teach courses during the day, evening, weekend, on and off campus. Selectee is required to complete a New Lecturer (Field Supervisor) Orientation in the first year, pass a criminal background check and Title IX Training.
Duties and Responsibilities
The University of Hawaii at Hilo School of Education seeks field supervisors to provide support in the performance and assessment of teacher candidates currently enrolled in a state approved teacher preparation program. Supervisors serve as instructional resources for teacher candidates during student teaching as well and act as liaisons between the School of Education and the K-12 public, private, and charter school field sites.
