St. Bonaventure University School of Business invites applications for a position in Business Law at the Lecturer level. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to quality teaching, service to the department and university, and leadership potential.
The position requires teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in the School of Business and engaging in service to the university and profession. Effective teaching, service and professional engagement is required for continued employment.
The faculty member will teach courses in accordance with the schedule of classes and following the approved course descriptions and curricular guidelines established by the Faculty and approved by the Dean and the Provost. Non-teaching assignments will include instructional development; academic advising and assisting students; participating in Departmental and University-wide activities; serving on committees and task forces; and other appropriate responsibilities as described in the Faculty Status and Welfare Handbook.
SCHEDULE: This is an appointed faculty position as governed by the Faculty Status and Welfare Handbook. Days, occasional evening or weekend hours as required.

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school required
Ability to teach online classes would be expected. In addition to business law and legal environment classes, you would also be teaching business ethics (both in traditional and online modes).
