Leasing Consultant/Resident Assistant for Senior Living Community

Reports to: Property Manager

Location: Edmond, OK

Units: 105

Hours: 12am - 8am (Monday-Friday)

Salary: $17.00 per hour

Summary:

Silver Elm Senior Living Apartments is looking for a competent Leasing Consultant/Resident Assistant to undertake the leasing activities as well as assist residents of our 105-unit senior living community.

Responsibilities:

• Answer phones, greet prospects, show apartments, and maintain current traffic and telephone logs.
• Present apartments to prospective clients in a persuasive manner
• Assist in discovering suitable tenants
• Promote unoccupied units through various media and advertising techniques
• Prepare lease agreements
• Validate application information and references
• Present leasing terms and close agreements
• Keep abreast of the property market status

Resident care:

• Assistance with food deliveries to the resident rooms.
• Monitor the phone and call system from the residents requiring immediate assistance.
• Assistance in resident functions as requested.
• Control of the interior building lighting for day light and evenings. Checking entrance and exit door locks.
• Collection and removal of trash as directed.

Skills:

• Proven working experience as a leasing consultant or sales professional
• Good knowledge of leasing rules and regulations
• Proven track record of successful sales
• Competency in MS Office and relevant databases and software
• Exquisite presentation and negotiation skills
• Well-versed in marketing and sales techniques
• Customer-focused approach
