Learning & Development Coordinator
Location: New York, NY | Hybrid
Type: This opportunity is starting as a 6-month temporary assignment; however, there is strong potential for longer-term opportunity or conversion for someone who performs well and is a strong business/culture fit.
A leading global investment firm is seeking a polished, proactive, and highly organized Learning & Development Coordinator to support its growing Human Capital team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to gain experience within a high-performing corporate environment focused on employee development, learning programs, and talent initiatives.
This role will support the coordination and execution of professional development programs, trainings, onboarding initiatives, and employee engagement offerings across the organization. The team is looking for someone who is intellectually curious, detail-oriented, adaptable, and eager to contribute in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate logistics for learning and development programs, workshops, trainings, and onboarding initiatives
- Manage scheduling, communications, materials, meeting setup, and participant coordination for virtual, hybrid, and in-person sessions
- Partner with internal stakeholders, facilitators, and vendors to ensure smooth program execution
- Track participation data, maintain program records, and assist with reporting/feedback collection
- Support ongoing process improvements and operational efficiencies across the L&D function
- Provide high-touch, professional support to employees and stakeholders across the business
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 0–2 years of professional experience preferred
- Strong internship or early-career experience within HR, recruiting, talent, event coordination, program coordination, or related corporate environments preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Professional, polished, and adaptable demeanor
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong judgment and discretion handling sensitive/confidential information
- Interest in employee development, talent, learning programs, or broader Human Capital functions
