Our Lead Security Officer positions play a key role in upholding these values. We are currently hiring for a Lead Security Officer opportunity at a manufacturing client site in Newington, NH. This role involves maintaining a safe and secure environment, conducting regular patrols, responding to incidents, enforcing post procedures, and serving as a point of leadership and support for officers on shift. The ideal candidate will represent Securitas with professionalism, vigilance, and integrity while helping ensure smooth overnight operations.

Lead Security Officer
Location: Newington, NH
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 12:00 AM-8:00 AM
Pay Rate: $21.50/hour
Shift Leadership: Act as the primary point of contact for officers during assigned shifts. Provide guidance, support, and direction to on-site security staff while helping ensure all post expectations are met.
Patrol and Monitoring: Regularly patrol the facility’s premises to help maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property. Monitor security systems, cameras, and alarms for unusual or suspicious activity.
Access Control: Manage and monitor access points to ensure only authorized personnel enter the facility. Verify identification, monitor visitor activity, and maintain accurate access records as needed.
Incident Response: Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, alarms, emergencies, and unusual situations. Assist with de-escalation, document findings, and communicate important updates to site leadership and management.
Reporting: Complete accurate and detailed incident reports, daily activity reports, and shift documentation. Ensure all required logs are maintained thoroughly and professionally.
Training and Support: Assist with onboarding and training new officers. Reinforce post orders, expectations, and site-specific procedures to support consistency and performance across the team.
Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all security-related policies, procedures, and site expectations. Help identify potential safety concerns, security risks, or process gaps and elevate them appropriately.
Collaboration: Work closely with site leadership, fellow officers, and branch management to support effective overnight operations and a coordinated security presence.
Qualifications:Experience: At least one year of prior security experience is required for a lead position. Experience in a lead, senior, or supervisory capacity is a plus.
Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and observational skills. Ability to remain calm under pressure, handle emergency situations effectively, and lead professionally during overnight operations.
Computer Skills: Basic computer proficiency and report writing skills are required.
Licensing: Valid NH State Guard Card or ability to apply for the license will be required.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, patrol the facility, and respond to emergencies.
