Lead Retail Nutrition Services

Join our Nutrition Services team and play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our patients and customers. Under the guidance of our Nutrition Services Specialist, Sous Chef, or Coordinator, you'll oversee daily operations, prepare and serve delicious meals tailored to physician diet orders and patient preferences, and maintain a spotless environment by sanitizing dishware. 

Your efficiency and courtesy will shine as you serve food in the Riverfront, Sixth Ave Bistro, or Catering Services. Embrace the principles of Family Centered Care, making every interaction with patients, their families, and co-workers a positive and supportive experience.

Schedule

• Full-time position | 72 hours every two weeks
• You will rotate between two different shift times:

  • 5:30am – 2pm; and 9am – 5:30pm

     

• Location: You will be working at both the Plaza and the Hospital buildings.
• Every third weekend and holiday required

Pay and Benefits

• Starting pay begins at $17.15 per hour and increases with experience
  • Pay range: $15.12-22.68 per hour

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2 years of institutional food service experience 
• Waiting/catering experience is preferred for this role.  
• Serve Safe certification with the State of MN within 18 months of hire 
• Certified Food Manager certification with the State of MN within 18 months of hire
• Good communication and mathematical skills
• Working knowledge of cash register
