Minimum Education:
Required: Administrative or technical background acquired through completion of 2 - 3 years of college
Preferred: Associates Degree
Specify Degree(s): Successful completion of accredited medical assistant program
Successful completion of Loyola's phlebotomy training program is required
Minimum Experience:
Required: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Medical AssistantPreferred: 6 years of experience as a Medical Assistant Details: Ambulatory experience in a primary or specialty care setting required
Previous Supervisory experience in an active, clinical setting is strongly preferred.
Licensure/Certifications:
Required: (upon hire)
Possess at least one (1) of the following Medical Assistant certifications:
American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
American Medical Technologists (AMT)
National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
BLS CPR from the AHA
Preferred:
ACLS (Advanced Cardio Life Support Certified) and/or PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
Certified Phlebotomy Technician (ASCP)

COMPENSATION
Pay Range: $25.71 - $27.13 per hour
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
