Job Title: Lead Maintenance Technician

Essential Skills

  • At least 5 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience working on production machinery or equipment.
  • Proven experience leading or guiding others in a maintenance environment, including assigning work and keeping technicians on track.
  • Strong mechanical experience, including hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, furnaces, gears, pulleys, drives, chains, and motors.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems up to 480V, including three-phase power, sensors, switches, AC/DC drives, and VFDs, with ideally 2 years of electrical experience.
  • Proficiency using a multimeter for electrical troubleshooting and verification of 480V and control wiring.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics for troubleshooting and repair planning.
  • Demonstrated industrial maintenance troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Hands-on experience with DC drives, AC frequency drives, programmable controllers (PLCs), and personal computer-based control interfaces.
  • Machine shop skills sufficient to perform repairs and fabricate components as needed.
  • Welding and fabrication skills to support equipment repairs and improvements.
  • Strong organizational skills to maintain and document parts inventory and tool room organization.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with team members and production staff while providing guidance and support.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $68640.00 - $76960.00/yr.
