**Compensation:** $19.00 - $27.17 per hour (DOE) + Comprehensive Benefits


**The Opportunity:**

We are representing a premier global leader in the life sciences sector seeking a skilled Lead Technician to join their Riverton facility. This is a pivotal role for a medical professional who combines technical expertise in specimen collection with the natural ability to mentor and lead a team in a fast-paced, donor-centered environment.


**Core Responsibilities:**

As a Lead Technician, you will ensure the seamless operational flow of the center while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. Your time will be split between hands-on clinical tasks and frontline leadership:


* **Clinical Excellence:** Oversee medical history screenings, phlebotomy procedures, and sample processing.

* **Leadership & Development:** Act as a subject matter expert to train, coach, and provide feedback to both new hires and tenured staff.

* **Operational Oversight:** Assist management in monitoring donor flow, troubleshooting equipment (specifically automated collection machinery), and maintaining an organized, professional environment.

* **Quality Assurance:** Ensure all activities strictly adhere to SOPs and federal/state regulations; perform specialized maintenance on lab equipment like tube sealers and hematocrit tools.

* **Customer Experience:** Set the tone for donor interactions, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience from entry to exit.


**Requirements:**

* **Education:** High School Diploma or equivalent required. (Applicants with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science are highly encouraged to apply).

* **Experience:** A minimum of 2 years of experience in a laboratory or clinical setting is required, specifically including total protein testing and phlebotomy.

* **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in sample processing and the ability to analyze and respond to equipment alarms/spills.

* **Physical Ability:** Must be comfortable standing for long periods, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Fine motor skills and the ability to work in a high-volume environment while wearing PPE/gloves is essential.

* **Soft Skills:** Strong communication, a collaborative mindset, and the integrity to put patient/donor safety at the heart of every decision.
