The Lead Host/Hostess role will be the face of the restaurant as guests enter the space to be seated. This is a role of professionalism and the highest level hospitality and outgoing personality. Smiles are a given and anticipating the guests needs are a standard. If you love being in an upscale or luxury environment, this is for you! Additional responsibilities include:

Private Dining & Event Coordination:

• Experience or strong interest in handling incoming private dining inquiries (bridal showers, baby showers, business dinners, corporate events, happy hours, etc.)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Ability to qualify leads, gather event details, and coordinate with internal teams to convert inquiries into bookings
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and general computer systems
• Ability to manage emails, calendars, and follow-ups with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable collaborating with culinary teams on prix fixe menu planning and customization

• Previous experience as a Host or Lead Host in a high-volume, upscale restaurant or hotel environment
• Strong knowledge of reservation platforms such as SevenRooms, Resy, and OpenTable.
• Exceptional guest service skills with a warm, professional, and welcoming presence
• Ability to confidently manage guest flow, wait times, and seating arrangements
• Experience with seating chart planning and floor map optimization
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to guide and support the host team

• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle high-volume service with confidence

• Deep cocktail knowledge beyond the basics

• Refined verbal communication skills.
• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.
• Must have full availability including weekends and holidays.
