Job Description

We are seeking a dynamicanalyticsleader to join theGastroenterology, Inflammation and Immunology (GI²)Commercial Analytics and Insight(CA&I)organization astheLead of GastroAnalytics.

TheLead of GastroAnalytics serves as the strategic analytics leader for the Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and Rare GI franchises. This role drivesdata drivendecision makingacross launch planning,patient analytics,brand strategy, field optimization, and performance measurement. The director partners closely with Marketing, Market Access,Forecasting, Data Sciences,Medical, Finance, and Field Leadership to shape commercial strategy for both in marketand pipeline assets.This is ahigh visibilityrole requiring deep therapeutic understanding, strong business acumen,extensive knowledge of available datasetsand the ability to translate complex analytics into clear, actionable insights.

How you will contribute

  • Leveragedeep knowledge inanalytics,includingexpertise in datasets likepatient-levelclaims, sales,patientaccessand EMR data, toestablishand driveanalyticssolutionsforourGastroproduct portfolio.
  • Foster supportiveanalyticstoinformstrategicchoicesand investments for abroadportfolio of in-line and pipeline products.
  • Coach team to buildinsightful, creative, andcontinuouslyimprovingstrategicdeliverables to the brand,sales,and market accessteams,alongwithotherkey stakeholders acrosstheGastroenterologyBusiness Unit (GIBU).
  • Overseeand provideanalysessupportingimpacts of insights(brand,sales,accessandaccountsanalytics), in partnership withtheadvancedanalytics, forecastingand dataCOEsto supportinformeddecisionmakingacrosstheGastroportfolio.
  • Proactivelyidentifybusinessquestions-e.g., market trends, product performance, marketingcampaigndevelopment(provider, health systemsand consumer) and performance, market accessanalytics, salesforceorganizationdesign,dynamictargeting,nextbest action-anddeterminestheoptimalapproachtoanswerthemthroughdataandanalytics.
  • Bringa consultativeapproachtopartneringwith stakeholders to validate the businessopportunityanddevelopa strategybasedonanalyticinsights.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degreerequired; Advanced degree (Master's in business,analytics,marketing,datascienceor engineering) preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressively responsiblefor analytics,data-driven decision making,management consulting or related functional experience within the bio-pharmaceutical industry required.
  • Gastroenterologyexperienceis highlypreferred.
  • Familiarity withArtificial Intelligenceand implementation of GenAI solutions required.
  • Demonstrated leadership in a matrix organization, able to motivate and inspire team members to high performance levels required.
  • Demonstrated ability tointegrate insights andtranslate strategy into action; excellent analytical skills and an ability to communicate complex issues ina simple wayand to orchestrate plans to resolve issues and mitigate risks
  • Demonstrated ability to create an environment that inspires and enables people to move the organization forward.
  • Expert in delivering persuasive presentations and mentoring others in presentation skills
  • Proficient in the use of business intelligence tools to support data-driven decisions
  • Proven experience leading and developing analytics teams, driving strategic initiatives, and managing cross-functional projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare analytics, including experience withpatientclaims data, marketaccessand salesanalytics.
  • Experience managing complex projects with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and goals.
  • Strongproficiencyin statistical analysis, and data visualization techniques.
  • Predictive modelling skills a plus
  • Expertisein analytics tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL, SAS, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Vendor and budget management.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, fostering strong relationships across departments.
  • Ability toidentifychallenges and develop innovative solutions through data-driven approaches.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and evolving technology landscapes.
  • Travel 15%- Occasionaldomestic overnight travel may berequired

U.S. Base Salary Range:

$177,000.00 - $278,080.00


The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
