What does the role entail?
A Lead Esthetician is a polished professional who demonstrates hands-on experience delivering high-end skincare treatments in a luxury resort. A commitment to delivering personalized, luxury-level guest experiences while modeling professionalism and brand standards.
Proven experience training, mentoring, and onboarding estheticians, including conducting hands-on demonstrations, service evaluations, and ongoing skills development. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of professional-grade skincare lines, ingredients, protocols, contraindications, and retail positioning. Experience driving retail sales through staff education, product knowledge, treatment pairing, and client consultation best practices.
Qualifications
Your experience:
- Current California Esthetician License issued by the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology.
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
- Refined verbal communication skills.
- Full-time availability up to 40 hours per week required.
- Flexible schedule including Weekends and Holidays.
- Ability to lift, push, pull and carry a moderate amount of weight.
- Ability to stand and walk long distances for long periods of time.
- Resort experience a plus.
- Collaborating with spa managers to refine treatment menus, introduce new technologies, and maintain brand standards.
- Managing professional inventory, monitoring product usage, ordering supplies, and ensuring equipment is functional and sanitary. They ensure treatment rooms meet California health and safety compliance standards.
- Responsible for training new hires on treatment protocols and training on product lines. In addition to training staff to meet retail sales goals through personalized recommendations.
- Experience creating and delivering structured training programs focused on service. standards, product knowledge, treatment protocols, sanitation, and guest experience.
- Biologique Recherche, Codage, Circadia and HydraFacial training a plus.
