Role Summary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive safe and reliable plant operations, ensuring full compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Process Optimization, Defect Elimination, or Root Cause Analysis to drive KPIs.
  • Act as primary operations contact for audits, inspections, and regulatory agency visits.
  • Oversee capital improvement projects, process optimization initiatives, and maintenance programs to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Provide day-to-day supervision of all plant personnel and partner with functional teams across the network.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), preventative maintenance schedules, and engineering documentation.
  • Collaborate with corporate leadership on strategic planning, budget management, staffing, and production forecasting.
  • Oversee training and development of plant employees to foster a high-performing, safety-oriented workforce.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a chemical plant operations or engineering
  • Proficiency in CMMS, process control systems, and Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in capital project installation and coordination.
  • Root Cause Analysis experience.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering , Mechanical Engineering or related technical field required
