Role Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive safe and reliable plant operations, ensuring full compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Process Optimization, Defect Elimination, or Root Cause Analysis to drive KPIs.
- Act as primary operations contact for audits, inspections, and regulatory agency visits.
- Oversee capital improvement projects, process optimization initiatives, and maintenance programs to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Provide day-to-day supervision of all plant personnel and partner with functional teams across the network.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), preventative maintenance schedules, and engineering documentation.
- Collaborate with corporate leadership on strategic planning, budget management, staffing, and production forecasting.
- Oversee training and development of plant employees to foster a high-performing, safety-oriented workforce.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a chemical plant operations or engineering
- Proficiency in CMMS, process control systems, and Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in capital project installation and coordination.
- Root Cause Analysis experience.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering , Mechanical Engineering or related technical field required
