WE LOVE OUR WORK.

  • Collect slot cash boxes from the gaming floor and support the cash and ticket count in the Count Room to help meet profitability and compliance goals.
  • Remove cash boxes from slot machines and replace them with empty cash boxes in accordance with Internal Controls and Ohio State gaming regulations.
  • Transport collected cash boxes to the Count Room using the predetermined route.
  • Ensure key control procedures are followed.
  • Operate automated currency-counting equipment to count and process tickets and currency removed from cash boxes.
  • Prepare the Cash Storage Box Report and supporting documentation based on the count results as needed.
  • Package currency and tickets into predetermined amounts for later use or deposit.
  • Transport verified tickets and currency to the Main Bank and ticket storage area in accordance with Internal Controls and Ohio State gaming regulations.
  • Complete daily maintenance of Count Room equipment and maintain cleanliness of the Count Room.
  • Work professionally with other departments as needed to complete assigned tasks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • High school diploma or equivalent and/or six months of related experience and/or training preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Must be able to read and write in English and have strong verbal communication skills.
  • Basic math skills (e.g., addition, subtraction, fractions, decimals, and percentages).
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an Ohio Casino Control Commission gaming license.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear
  • Required to stand; walk; and use of hands and fingers, handle, or feel.
  • Occasionally required to sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move more than 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
