Lead Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) – Supported Leadership

Compensation:

Offering up to $35/hr ~ $70k salary depending on experience

Leadership compensation without leadership burnout.

Hours: Thursdays and Sundays are closed

Mon, Tues Fri: 8:30-6. Wed 8:30-7pm

No more than 1 weekend per month at the clinic (Saturday)

Client is seeking a Lead CVT in Westmont, IL who wants to help guide a technician team while still practicing high-quality medicine — with real doctor and management support. This role is ideal for a CVT who wants leadership without being left alone to carry everything.

What you’ll do:

• Serve as a clinical leader and mentor for the technician team
• Work closely with doctors on patient care and workflow
• Continue hands-on CVT work (this is not a desk job)
• Help shape protocols and team growth — collaboratively

Requirements:

• Licensed CVT in Illinois
• Minimum 3 years working in the CVT role
