What You'll Do:

  • Oversee the day-to-day administration and operations of the office
  • Direct the recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of professional staff
  • Support attorney recruiting initiatives and assist with new attorney integration
  • Coordinate staff training and professional development programs
  • Manage work assignments and ensure adequate support coverage across departments
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching, counseling, and disciplinary guidance as needed
  • Implement and maintain firm policies, procedures, and operational standards
  • Assist with budgeting activities and ensure adherence to financial guidelines
  • Prepare expense and trust account checks and perform light accounting functions
  • Plan and coordinate office events, meetings, celebrations, and community service initiatives
  • Support office facilities and maintenance activities
  • Partner with firm leadership on special projects and strategic initiatives

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a legal, professional services, or similar environment strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field required
  • Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams
  • Strong conflict resolution, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships and work effectively with a diverse group of professionals
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and video conferencing platforms
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
