POSITION SUMMARY
Laundry Storekeeper / Attendant
Process all soiled hotel bed linens, terry and food and beverage table linens by operating heavy load machine( washer 480lbs)/Dryer 500lbs)/dry cleaning machinery in accordance to hotel's standards. Clean, press and finish staff and guest garments, as well as designated guest room fabrics and articles. Responsible for sorting/folding towels and linens, operating various presser machines to finalize guest items and employee uniforms in a timely, efficient and safe manner. Receive all processed uniforms from the valet and return cleaned uniforms to the correct numbered location on the racks and/or rails in accordance to hotel’s standard. Follow through on staff requests for repair or re-issue uniforms, complete minor repairs such as replacing buttons as needed, and communicate with the Laundry/Uniform and seamstress regarding tasks completed. Responsible for uniform inventories, placed back processed uniforms on the correct slot number of the conveyer and finalizing employee uniforms in a timely, efficient and safe manner.
The ideal candidate will have:
-Previous laundry experience preferred should have knowledge of dry cleaning equipment, chemical handling, and finishing techniques for all types of fabrics.
-Must have the ability to exert physical effort in the movement of bundles of soiled/cleaned bed linens into/out of laundry machines (lift 50 lb)
-Enjoy working with a team in high temperatures and a fast-paced environment.
-Basic knowledge of MS Office – Excel & Word for inventory purposes.

-Ability to work a flexible scheduled including evenings, weekends and holidays
