Lathe Machinist – 1st Shift (8am–5pm) | $18–$30/hr

Join a leading OEM specializing in custom powder compaction and thermal processing systems. We build high‑precision presses, furnaces, and tooling for industries including automotive, aerospace, medical, and energy.

Role Overview

Operate CNC lathes to produce precision metal parts to exact specifications. You’ll review blueprints, set up equipment, run machining operations, and verify part accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and program CNC lathes
  • Review blueprints and job specifications
  • Select tools, determine speeds/feeds, and set up workpieces
  • Monitor machining accuracy and adjust programs as needed
  • Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and indicators
  • Replace tooling and maintain equipment
Skills & Qualifications
  • 3–5 years machinist experience preferred
  • CNC lathe experience; Doosan/Smart lathe a plus
  • Familiarity with FANUC conversational or Mastercam preferred
  • Strong blueprint reading and math skills
  • Proficient with precision measuring tools
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
Work Environment

Machine shop setting; loud and not climate‑controlled. Safety gear required.

The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $62400.00/yr.
