Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Landscape Foreman located in DeWitt, MI. The Landscape Foreman will play a pivotal role in leading on-site crews and

delivering high-quality landscape installation and maintenance projects. This is a hands-on

position where you will coordinate daily tasks, operate equipment, and collaborate closely

with the designer/owner to provide exceptional service to our clients. Your leadership will be

essential in driving efficiency, enforcing safety, and maintaining top-tier quality across all job

sites.


Key Responsibilities

● Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor landscape crews in the field,

including providing constructive performance feedback.

● Project Management: Oversee day-to-day operations for maintenance and

installation projects, ensuring all work meets company quality standards.

● Site & Inventory Control: Monitor materials and inventory for each job site to

ensure projects stay on track.

● Communication: Act as the primary liaison, providing regular project updates and

communicating on-site needs to project managers and supervisors.

● Equipment Operation: Safely operate and maintain a variety of landscaping tools

and heavy machinery.

● Safety Enforcement: Champion a safety-conscious environment by strictly

enforcing protocols and proactively addressing any issues that arise.

Qualifications

● Experience: 4+ years of landscaping experience, including at least 1–2 years in a

leadership or supervisory role.

● Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of landscape construction and

maintenance practices, with the ability to accurately read and execute landscape

plans and work orders.

● Equipment Proficiency: Highly skilled in using and maintaining standard

landscaping tools and machinery.

● Soft Skills: Excellent communication and team leadership skills, with a proactive

approach and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

● Requirements: A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
