SKILLS REQUIRED:
Primary (Must-Have):
• Deep LabWare LIMS Expertise: Extensive, long-term hands-on experience (10+ years preferred) navigating, configuring, and troubleshooting highly customized LabWare environments.
• Advanced Customization & APIs: Proven proficiency in LabWare LIMS configuration, complex customization, LIMS programming basics, and API utilization.
• System Integration: Strong background integrating LIMS with laboratory sequencers, ERP, CRM, and modern web technologies using REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML.
• Core Programming & Databases: High proficiency in SQL alongside robust scripting/development skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript (Node/React).
• Laboratory Workflow Design: Demonstrated capability in modern laboratory workflow design, digitization, and translation of complex science requirements into technical solutions.
Secondary (Good to Have):
• Regulatory Compliance: Deep familiarity with industry-specific regulatory standards, including ISO, GLP, or GMP environments.
• Industry Domain Background: Prior experience operating within Animal Health, Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, or Clinical Lab settings.
• Technical Project Delivery: Solid business analysis background with a strong testing/automation mindset and familiarity with code quality or linting tools.

POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an elite, highly seasoned Lead LabWare LIMS Systems Engineer / LIMS Architect to spearhead the optimization, integration, and configuration of a highly customized LabWare environment. This technical, on-site role demands an expert with a decade of engineering experience who can seamlessly bridge the gap between complex biological workflows and advanced software systems. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the incumbent will engineer critical data pipelines—integrating LIMS with lab sequencers, enterprise ERPs, and web APIs—to directly drive laboratory digitization and execution strategies.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Architect, configure, and customize advanced LabWare LIMS solutions to support complex, highly tailored laboratory operations and workflow digitization.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize robust integration pipelines connecting LIMS with cutting-edge lab sequencers, downstream ERP/CRM networks, and web services (REST/SOAP).
• Write, review, and refine complex SQL queries and programmatic scripts (Python, Java, or JavaScript) to unlock custom system capabilities and advanced data manipulation.
• Translate sophisticated scientific and business requirements into concrete technical designs, collaborating effectively across diverse functional teams and subject matter experts.
• Spearhead complex technical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for system errors, prioritizing issues to maintain steady progress within ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
• Champion code quality, test automation, and linting standards while ensuring all technical deployments closely adhere to regulatory guidelines (ISO/GLP).
