About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Maintenance Department at Gunter AFB. This position is a Regular Part-Time position guaranteed 20 hours per week, but can work up to 40 hours per week, based on mission needs. As a RPT employee, you are eligible to earn annual leave, sick leave and benefits, to include Health/Dental, Life Insurance, Employer Matching 401K and NAF Retirement.

MajorDuties

  • The purpose of this position is to perform manual-labor tasks involving the use of common hand tools and simple-power equipment for Lodging. The following are duties you may be required to accomplish but it is not all inclusive: - Loads, unloads, moves, and stacks material such as heavy boxes and bulky items by hand, hand-trucks, or dollies. - Performs a variety of manual tasks such as moving, arranging, collecting, and cleaning equipment and materials. - Moves and arranges furniture, as directed - May collect and empty garbage cans - Operates hand tools and simple power equipment such as hand lawnmowers, walking-type power mowers, hand-saws, hatchets, and clippers to perform tasks such as mowing lawns, clearing small trees and bushes, and removing snow. - May be required to work an uncommon tour of duty required to include nights, weekends and holidays. Physical Effort: Exerts moderately heavy physical effort, occasionally lifting and carrying heavy objects weighing up to 50 pounds; frequently lifting and carrying moderately heavy objects up to 40 pounds, and frequently pushing heavy objects such as furniture on dollies and loaded carts.
