CBRE Full Spectrum Lab Services provides end to end scientific support for clients across life sciences, manufacturing, and other industries. We partner with pharmaceutical and biotech companies, healthcare, food and beverage producers, automotive and tooling innovators, and both contract research organizations (CROs) and contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs) to keep their operations running at peak performance.
About the role
The Operations Lead is accountable for the end-to-end operational performance of a large, complex enterprise laboratory services account. This role ensures consistent, compliant, and cost-effective delivery of lab services across multiple lab sites while aligning operational execution with contractual commitments, regulatory requirements, and client strategic objectives.
The position serves as the primary operational authority for the account, working closely with client leadership, regional operations teams, quality and compliance functions, procurement, technology, and finance.

Supervisory responsibilities
Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Recommends staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, safety, and customer focus.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Bachelors degree in electrical, mechanical or chemical engineering is preferred. Minimum of two years of related experience and/or training. Associates degree preferred in scientific field of study preferred or equivalent related work experience.
Five years relevant field experience in laboratory and / or manufacturing pharmaceutical or equivalent regulated environments required. Knowledge of analytical instrument maintenance and / or laboratory technical services.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the LIS Supervisor is $150,000 annually and the maximum salary for the LIS Supervisor position is $170,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
