Laboratory Specialist -- SARDC5736231

Key Responsibilities

• Perform assessment testing on in-process and finished products as per quality documentation
• Evaluate test results to ensure compliance with specifications
• Identify and communicate issues affecting product quality or integrity
• Conduct calibration and routine instrument maintenance (daily/weekly) to ensure accuracy
• Support continuous improvement by identifying Lean manufacturing opportunities
• Collaborate with the team to propose solutions and process improvements
• Inspect incoming materials, packaging, and labeling components
• Perform in-process quality checks and final product testing
• Use advanced inspection tools and gauging instruments
• Follow complex test methods and quality procedures
• Maintain and update records using multiple databases

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a lab setting
• Willingness to learn Lean Manufacturing or DBS tools
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Basic understanding of statistical analysis
• Experience in a diagnostic medical lab
