A prestigious law firm is seeking a Labor and Employment Relations Associate Attorney to join its established Los Angeles office. This opportunity is ideal for attorneys with strong California employment litigation experience who are looking to work on sophisticated employer defense matters while gaining significant responsibility and direct client exposure.


The successful candidate will represent employers in complex workplace disputes, employment litigation, and labor-related matters in California state and federal courts. Attorneys will collaborate with experienced practitioners on strategic litigation matters while developing advanced advocacy, case management, and client counseling skills.

Key Responsibilities


• Manage employment litigation matters from inception through resolution in California state and federal courts.

• Represent employers in workplace disputes, employment-related claims, and labor law matters.

• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analyze complex employment law issues.

• Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, correspondence, and litigation-related documents.

• Develop case strategies in collaboration with partners and litigation teams.

• Participate in discovery management, witness preparation, and case development activities.

• Attend hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and other litigation proceedings.

• Evaluate litigation risks and provide practical recommendations to clients.

• Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and strategic legal guidance.

• Manage multiple matters while ensuring compliance with deadlines and court requirements.

• Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups to provide comprehensive legal solutions.

Qualifications


• Minimum of 3 years of California employment litigation experience.

• Strong background in employer-side employment litigation preferred.

• Active California Bar admission in good standing.

• Experience handling litigation matters in California state and federal courts.

• Ability to independently manage litigation matters and competing deadlines.
