Role


This opportunity sits within a well-established Labor and Employment team, supporting a mix of contentious and advisory matters. The role offers exposure to sophisticated employment litigation as well as day-to-day advisory work, providing a strong platform for professional development.

You will work closely with senior lawyers on complex mandates while taking increasing ownership of matters and developing direct client relationships.


Key Responsibilities


  • Support employment litigation matters including pleadings, motions and case strategy
  • Assist with discovery, document review and evidence analysis
  • Contribute to internal investigations and fact-finding exercises
  • Advise clients on a range of employment issues including workplace policies, compliance and risk management
  • Conduct legal research and prepare client-ready memoranda and briefings
  • Collaborate with colleagues across offices and practice areas on multi-disciplinary matters


Key Skills


  • Qualified lawyer admitted and in good standing in a U.S. jurisdiction
  • Proven experience in labor & employment law (litigation and/or advisory)
  • Strong academic background and legal drafting skills
  • Experience handling employment disputes and/or workplace investigations
  • Commercial awareness and ability to deliver pragmatic legal advice
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to interact with clients
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
