Shift: Full-Time Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week

Pay Rate: Starting at $33.15/hour


Sign-On Bonus/Relocation Assistance: Up to $10,000 for eligible candidates

Join a high-acuity Labor & Delivery team at one of Oklahoma's busiest maternity centers. This facility manages approximately 350 deliveries per month, with 40% classified as high-risk pregnancies, providing an excellent environment for professional growth and specialized maternal care experience.

Position Summary

The Registered Nurse I assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care utilizing the nursing process in accordance with hospital standards and unit policies. The RN collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient care while supporting positive maternal and neonatal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
  • Document nursing care accurately and thoroughly.
  • Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changing conditions.
  • Provide patient and family education tailored to individual needs.
  • Coordinate discharge planning and resource utilization.
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Participate in quality improvement and educational initiatives.
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies and nursing standards.


Qualifications

Required:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Valid Oklahoma RN License or Compact Multistate RN License.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient care responsibilities.


Preferred:

  • Labor & Delivery experience strongly preferred.
  • Candidates with at least 2 years of acute care hospital nursing experience may be considered.
  • Demonstrated interest in transitioning into Labor & Delivery and pursuing a long-term career in maternal care.
