Job Title: Lab Technician

Pay Rate: $25/Hr.

Duration: 5 Months

Location: Trumbull, CT

Shift: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Our client is a global industrial and consumer products manufacturer.

We are looking for a Lab Technician

• Testing of cleansing formulations is all done on paper.
• Evaluate, collect, and record data.
• Participates in organizing and performing documentation within established procedures while summarizing and reporting results.
• Uses a computer to enter data/information, including charts and tables, for the communication of project results/details.
• Involved in documenting the production of liquid cleansing products.
• Tests the characteristics of formulas using established procedures.
• Maintain and file FDA paper files, lab data, & maintain files by year & the unique FDA documentation
• Unpack & lift new product for testing, move & set up product bins in the appropriate heated temperature-controlled chambers
• Label each FDA product, check batch & UPC codes
• File returned FDA product from the labs back in the appropriate bins in heated chambers
• Detail-oriented, create Excel & Word documents for projects using the appropriate forms

Qualifications:

• The candidate must demonstrate some lab experience
• Computer-literate in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Ability to understand and follow experimental protocols for the preservation of data
• Comfortable and able to work and follow safe laboratory practices/protocols
• The ability to stand while working in the pilot plant throughout most of the day
• Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
