Role Description

This full-time, on-site Kitchen Manager/Head Chef role is based in Dubuque, IA. The selected candidate will oversee all kitchen activities, including meal planning, food preparation, and ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Responsibilities include staff management, maintaining food quality, organizing inventory, and implementing best practices to enhance operational efficiency. The role also involves fostering creativity in menu development, meeting various dietary needs, and maintaining a high standard for customer satisfaction.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Food Preparation, Cooking, and Food & Beverage operations
  • Strong knowledge of Food Quality standards and practices
  • Demonstrated experience in Culinary Management and team leadership
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage inventory, suppliers, and food cost controls
  • Strong communication and problem-solving capabilities
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations within food service
  • Previous experience as a Head Chef or Kitchen Manager is highly desirable
