Role Description

iCode Lynnwood is seeking a dynamic and dedicated K-12 STEAM Instructor for a part-time, on-site position in Lynnwood, WA. The STEAM Instructor will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) to students. Duties include developing lesson plans, supporting students through hands-on activities, managing classroom behavior, and inspiring a curiosity for STEAM subjects. Collaboration with other instructors, maintaining a positive learning atmosphere, and adapting teaching strategies to different age groups and learning styles will also be part of the role.

Qualifications
  • Experience in teaching or instructional roles, especially with K-12 students
  • Knowledge in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math concepts, with the ability to simplify technical concepts for young learners
  • Strong collaboration, classroom management, and curriculum development skills
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Enthusiasm for working with children and fostering a positive and engaging educational environment
  • Comfortable using technology and software tools for teaching purposes
  • Previous experience in a STEAM-related field or educational curriculum development is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math, or a related field is preferred
