Junior Programmer

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated Junior Programmer to join our team and assist in the design, development, testing, and support of desktop and web-based applications that interface with SQL Server databases. This is a great opportunity for an early-career professional to grow their technical skills while working alongside experienced developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and testing of applications using Microsoft SQL Server and Visual Studio
• Support both desktop and web-based applications
• Work with end users to understand basic requirements and provide support
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues with guidance from senior team members
• Participate in ongoing improvements and enhancements to existing systems
• Document processes, code, and application functionality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 0–2 years of programming or relevant internship experience
• Basic knowledge of:
• Microsoft SQL Server
• Microsoft Visual Studio or similar development tools
• Strong willingness to learn and grow in a development environment
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to database development or web application development through coursework or internships
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or cloud environments (a plus, not required)
• Basic understanding of software development lifecycle
