The successful candidate will manage cases from intake through resolution while working closely with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and firm leadership. Key Responsibilities


• Represent clients in family law matters involving divorce, legal separation, child custody, parenting time, child support, and spousal maintenance.

• Handle adoption matters involving both children and adults.

• Manage all aspects of family law litigation from intake through final resolution.

• Develop case strategies and provide practical legal guidance to clients.

• Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, settlement conferences, and trials.

• Conduct legal research and prepare litigation strategies for court proceedings.

• Draft pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, legal correspondence, and related documents.

• Communicate regularly with clients regarding case developments and legal options.

• Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff to ensure exceptional client service.

• Assist with matters involving guardianships, conservatorships, probate-related issues, Department of Child Safety (DCS) proceedings, and protective orders when applicable.

• Participate in client intake and consultation processes as needed.

Qualifications


• Minimum of 2+ years of family law experience.

• Experience handling divorce, custody, support, and related domestic relations matters.

• Experience or interest in guardianship, conservatorship, probate, DCS, or protective order matters preferred.

• Strong courtroom and litigation experience.

• Active Arizona Bar admission in good standing.

• Excellent legal research, drafting, and analytical abilities.

• Strong client counseling and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple active cases and deadlines.

• High level of professionalism and emotional intelligence.

• Commitment to client service and achieving positive outcomes.
