ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Documentation & Workflow Accuracy: Maintain meticulous records of all laboratory procedures. Ensure all data entry into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) is accurate and compliant with regulatory standards (CLIA, CAP, FDA, and SART).Laboratory Preparation: Responsible for daily laboratory start-up and shutdown processes. Prepare and label embryo culture dishes, aliquot media, and ensure all pre-procedure planning is complete and verified.Clinical Assistance: Assist in daily IVF operations, including oocyte identification (pick-up), sperm preparation for IUI/IVF, and fertilization checks under the supervision of senior staff.Quality Control (QC): Perform daily monitoring of laboratory equipment (incubators, heated stages, refrigerators) and liquid nitrogen storage tanks. Respond to and document equipment alarms and maintenance.Inventory & Coordination: Manage laboratory supplies and consumables. Review patient consent documents for completeness before procedures and assist in coordinating specimen shipping and receiving.Professional Development: Participate in an apprenticeship-style training program to master advanced techniques such as ICSI, trophectoderm biopsy, and vitrification.JOB QUALIFICATIONS:Education: Bachelors degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology, or a related life science field.Experience: 02 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting (IVF laboratory experience is a plus but not required for the right candidate).Meticulous Nature: Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of organizational skill are mandatory. You must be comfortable following strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and clinical staff.Availability: Must be flexible to work a rotating schedule that includes early mornings, weekends, and holidays.Multilingual Skills: Since Labryo serves a global community, proficiency in Japanese is highly desired. Physical RequirementsAbility to perform fine motor tasks under a microscope.Ability to lift up to 30 lbs (e.g., handling liquid nitrogen dewars or lab supplies).Comfortable standing or sitting for extended periods in a clean-room environment.
