Junior Cobol Developer

Are you a recent graduate with a STEM degree and a knack for problem-solving? We're hiring a Junior COBOL Developer to join a collaborative team supporting enterprise software systems used across healthcare, insurance, finance, and government sectors.

In this role, you’ll learn and work with COBOL—a high-demand, English-like programming language ideal for those with strong mathematical aptitude. You'll be trained alongside experienced professionals and contribute to mission-critical systems development and maintenance.

What You’ll Do:

• Learn and apply COBOL to support large-scale business applications
• Work within an Agile team environment
• Collaborate with users and technical stakeholders to resolve issues and improve systems
• Assist in designing, coding, testing, and debugging software

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Math, Economics, Computer Science, etc.)
• Minimum GPA of 3.3
• Demonstrated interest in technology or programming
• Strong analytical thinking and communication skills
• Willingness to relocate to Lansing, MI
