Junior AI/Machine Learning Engineer

We're seeking a highly motivated Junior AI / Machine Learning Engineer to join an innovative engineering team focused on developing and optimizing AI software solutions for a multi-year contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career engineer who is passionate about artificial intelligence, machine learning, and emerging technologies.
The ideal candidate has a strong academic foundation in AI, machine learning, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field, along with a genuine enthusiasm for learning and working with both software and hardware technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Support the development, testing, and evaluation of AI and machine learning solutions.
- Perform benchmarking, performance analysis, and validation of AI/ML models and software.
- Analyze results and provide recommendations for optimization and improvement.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate AI software with hardware platforms.
- Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning of AI applications.
- Stay current with emerging AI technologies, tools, and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- Foundational understanding of machine learning concepts, neural networks, model training, and AI workflows.
- Basic programming experience through coursework, projects, internships, or personal projects.
- Comfortable working with both software and hardware environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Demonstrated passion for AI, machine learning, and emerging technologies.
Preferred:
- Academic, research, internship, or personal project experience involving AI/ML.
- Exposure to Python and common AI/ML frameworks.
- Experience with benchmarking, performance analysis, or data analysis.
- Familiarity with Linux environments is a plus.
