If so, we have an exciting, in-office opportunity for a Junior Account Manager to take the lead on producing our prestigious Women to KNOW State Publication series. This is an excellent entry-level/junior position with a clear path for professional growth and promotion.

Position Summary

The Junior Account Manager will be the driving force behind the annual Women to KNOW State Publication. This role involves end-to-end management of the publication process, from identifying candidates to coordinating the final layout and print. The ideal candidate is an exceptionally organized self-starter with strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset.


Key Responsibilities


Publication Production & Project Management

  • Identify and Prospect: Proactively research and identify leading women across various industries within the assigned state(s).
  • Nomination and Interview Coordination: Manage the process of receiving nominations, vetting candidates, and scheduling and conducting initial Zoom interviews with potential featured women.
  • Selection Committee: Build, train, and manage a local selection committee to assist in the final selection of the women to be featured.
  • Coordination: Oversee the logistics for professional photoshoots, gathering biographies, and coordinating the final layout of the publication.
  • Maintain strict adherence to deadlines, ensuring the publication remains on schedule and within quality standards.


Communication & Relationship Building

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all featured women, selection committee members, and vendors.
  • Provide an exceptional level of customer service and support throughout the entire process.
  • Conduct professional presentations and be able to confidently lead a call with internal and external stakeholders.


Professional Requirements

  • Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills are mandatory.
  • Must be well-written and spoken, with the ability to communicate clearly, confidently, and persuasively.
  • Proficiency with Zoom and other virtual meeting platforms is required.
  • A high degree of professionalism and empathy in handling sensitive conversations and maintaining confidentiality.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience in communications, marketing, business, or a related field.
  • Experience: This is an entry-level/junior role, and relevant internship or professional experience is a plus.
  • Required Skills: Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication, and proven customer service ability.
  • Bonus Skills: Previous experience in business development and/or sales is a significant advantage, particularly in relationship-based sales.


Location and Compensation

  • Location: This is a full-time, in-office position. Remote work is not an option.
  • Compensation: Competitive salaried compensation commensurate with experience, plus PTO & Sick Time.
