Jr. Hardware Asset Management Analyst

A Fortune 500 investment firm is seeking a Hardware Asset Management Analyst to support Technology Operations. This role is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of enterprise hardware assets, including receiving, tracking, inventory management, and secure disposal.

This is a hands-on, operations-focused role within the Hardware Asset Management team, supporting daily logistics and inventory processes for desktop hardware and peripherals across the firm.


Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and process daily shipments from vendors (e.g., USPS, UPS, Amazon)
  • Record and track new hardware assets in ServiceNow (SNOW)
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure data integrity across systems
  • Track and update purchase orders and asset records in Coupa and ServiceNow
  • Package and ship outbound equipment, including creating shipping labels
  • Perform physical inventory counts, audits, and reconciliations
  • Organize and maintain secure storage of hardware assets
  • Execute secure data deletion on end-of-life devices prior to disposal
  • Support desktop lease replacements and asset disposal workflows
  • Assist with asset-related projects, including data collection and reporting
  • Collaborate with Desktop Support and other Technology Operations teams as needed


Required Qualifications

  • 0–2 years of experience in hardware support, inventory, or asset management
  • Ability to work on-site 5 days per week in Baltimore, MD
  • Reliable transportation (occasional travel to Owings Mills, MD required)
  • Experience handling, tracking, or managing physical equipment or inventory
  • Ability to lift, move, and organize hardware equipment as part of daily tasks
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and system updates

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ServiceNow (SNOW)
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel (tracking, data entry, basic analysis)
  • Experience in inventory operations, warehouse, or asset tracking environments
  • Familiarity with hardware lifecycle processes (receiving, deployment, disposal)
